Jesus came to redeem you.
God sent His Son, Jesus, to be born a humble child, live a simple, unselfish, holy life, be rejected by His people and abandoned by His followers, then pay the price of the cross to redeem you. What price did He pay? His life! His blood! That shows you what you're worth to Him.
The God who make you will remake you.
God loves you as you are, but He loves you too much to leave you as you are. He'll remake you with the power to become the person He made you to be.
Trust in God's love for you.
Don't blame God for what's gone wrong. He wants what's best for you. He'll take care of everything you give Him - so give Him your life! He'll always be with you.
Here's how to do it now:
First: Talk to God. Admit you need to change. Give up the things that displease God and that hurt yourself and others. Ask Him to help you get them out of your life, to fill the empty space, and to get you under control.
Second: Open your heart, Jesus says, "I stand at the door, knocking; if you hear my voice and open the door, I will come into you." Invite Him. He'll come to you.
Third: Let Him guide you. get a Bible and read it. Find a way to pray and thank God every day. Get with people who live for God. Tell others what you are experiencing. Don't let an occasional slip discourage you. Get up, get forgiven, get going again!
From the Bible: "God saves us by grace when we believe. It's not what we do, it's what He does. A free gift to us. No one can brag about it. We are made by God. He created us and remade us in Christ Jesus to do the good things He has planned for us."(Ephesians 2:8-10)
